Success is a Job in New York

Or so they say. The "they" is Bond no. 9, and this is the name of their latest Andy Warhol fragrance. Billed as a "warm and spicy gourmand," I see it more as a spicy tuberose scent. I don't get the bergamot and mandarin in the beginning at all - the scent goes directly to spice, heavy on the cardamom and nutmeg. Beneath that is tuberose, sweetened with plum. In the background is lots of powdery vanilla and a bit of patch for grounding.

Overall, I find Success to be a somewhat old-fashioned scent, a sweet/spicy oriental with a lot of oomph. Me likey.
