Notes: linden blossom, magnolia, lime peel, white frangipani, jasmine, rose, tuberose, water lilies, plum, green orchid oil, amber, musk, cedar, vanilla
Yum and yum. When I dabbed on a bit of my sample of OJ Frangipani, I thought this would smell a lot like Chatecaille Frangipane. And it does...but not at first. In the beginning I get a shot of lime over linden blossom, and then a ton of juicy ripe plum. Glorious natural plum. Ahhh....
I'm allergic to plums (and all stone fruit) due to an overdose of fresh peaches one summer in the early 80s. Nowadays, I like to sniff the ripe plums at the market in the summertime, but I dare eat them only after cooking them for at least a few minutes. It's just not the same. So I got a little excited at the plum note in OJ Frangipani.
Sadly, that note disappears after a while, but, the scent is still gorgeous. It takes on a lovely greenness, mingled with frangipani and jasmine, and there's a rich musky vanilla lurking underneath it all. Really stunning, and on my must-buy list.
Great review , i sprayed mine on my daughter Friday and enjoyed it more. I
don't seem to smell the ones I am wearing except on my clothes later. This
fragrance is a joy.
