One of the samples in our Saks goody bag was a miniature bottle of the new Bill Blass fragrance. Bill Blass is a very pretty green floral with a quick opening of citrus leading into a very springlike bouquet of lily of the valley and white floral notes with lots of galbanum. The green is much like fresh cut grass, and the lily of the valley note is an exceptionally fresh muguet.
As the fragrance dries down, the notes take on a slightly sweeter, honeyed quality, reminding me of tending to the garden on a warm Spring or early Summer day. I'm not a floral scent person, but Bill Blass is quite nice indeed.
Notes: neroli petals, galbanum, green mandarin, white hyacinth, lily of the valley, tuberose, jasmine
